KEA Motorhome Facelift Design.
Australasian motorhome giant KEA has been producing motorhomes with adventure and exploration front of mind since 1995. KEA is a key brand under the Action Manufacturing umbrella and in 2021 we undertook a complete facelift of the KEA product range.
Design for an improved experience.
As the Head Industrial Designer at Action I tackled the interior design of the 4 berth Cascade motorhome whilst managing the project from the research phase to the first prototype.
We began by collecting as much feedback as possible on the existing solution. We conducted a design workshop with two models of the 4 berth Cascade, one was fresh from the production line, and the other had seen 120,000kms of hard rental use. We ensured our design decisions were always guided by this information.
